GAA star Laide takes the reins at Tralee CU

FORMER Kerry GAA star Pa Laide is the new CEO of Tralee Credit Union.

Laide – who has spent 27 years working in various business development and managerial roles with AIB – took up his new role with TCU last week.

Having spent the last few years as AIB Newcastle West Branch Manager Mr Laide said he was happy to be back in the Kingdom.

“I’m delighted to return to Kerry working with Tralee Credit Union. I’m really looking forward to the challenge and developing the role with such a great team of professionals at board, management and staff level,” he said.

Tralee Credit Union serves 42,000 members through branches in Tralee, Castleisland and Killorglin.

Currently it has over €200 million in assets; over €180 million in savings and €70 million out on loan.
