It may be five weeks away, but excitement is already building in the village of Causeway as the club prepares for what will be its first Strictly Come Dancing night.

The event was launched at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Wednesday where the judging line-up was also unveiled.

No pressure now, but none other than RTÉ Strictly winner Aidan O’Mahony will be one of the four adjudicators, alongside Caroline McEnery, Michael Healy Rae and Tim Landers.

Training is already underway in the Forge Bar and the Ballyroe Heights as the competition builds over the next five weeks.

“We as a committee would like to thank all 24 dancers for taking part in this fundraising event for us. We understand that they are giving up their time and we would like them to know that we appreciate it. We are very grateful for their help and support,” Noel O Connor, Chairperson of Causeway GAA said.
