THE OLD BARRACKS:

The Old Barracks is now reopened for the season, free admission for the month of April.

Many thanks to the swimmers and sponsors who collected €9,000 for the annual Christmas Day Swim. Cahercivee­n Resource Centre €750, Sight Savers, Valentia Lifeboat, St. Patricks Day Parade €250 each.

BEAGLE CLUB:

The Cahersivee­n and Over the Water Beagle club wish to thank all the farmers and the landowners for the use of their land during the hunting season.

SOCIAL SERVICES:

Cycle to Bring Them Home. Funds raised from this year’s Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle will go towards the Furnishing of 5 new housing units, providing much needed homes for older people and returning immigrants in our community. The Social Services provides meals on wheels, a Day Care Centre, a Laundry Service, Transport, 22 housing units which will soon be expanded to 27.
