Join Waterville Tidy Towns for the County Cleanup on Saturday 16th April at 10.30am in the IRD Carpark. Collect refuse bags and gloves and help us to Clean up the whole area- highways and bye-ways. The more people that turn up the more we collect. Let’s break last year’s record of 80 bags. Thank you!

Congratula­tions to Waterville Ballad group who have qualified for the Scor na bPaiste County Final having taken part in the Semi Final on Sunday in Glenbeigh. We wish Holly Galvin, Mary O’Connell, Joni Curran, India Duff and Lieve Duff all the best in the county final which will take place on 22nd April at 2pm in Foilmore.

WELL DONE

Congratula­tions and well done to Aoife Dwyer, daughter of Denis and Michelle who won the gold medal in the finals of the Kerry Community games cross country on Sunday last. We wish every good luck as she now goes forward to represent Kerry in the All Ireland final in May.

GENERAL MEETING

A general meeting of Waterville Community Alert will take place on Monday 16th April in the Waterville Community centre at 8.30pm. An Garda Siochana will also be in attendance to advise on any matters of concern. All are welcome.

This system has worked extremely well for our community and your continued support is greatly appreciate­d.
