15 TDs, councillors and senators sign up for ‘no’ vote
FIANNA Fáil Councillor John Joe Culloty – who is the Chairman of the Kerry Right to Life group – has issued an open letter on behalf of 15 Kerry TDs, senators and councillors who, Cllr Culloty said, plan to vote ‘No’ in the upcoming referendum on the Eighth Amendment.
The letter – which was issued by e-mail – reads as follows: “This e-mail is from Kerry Public Representatives voting ‘No’ in the upcoming referendum on the Eighth Amendment.”
“We, the undersigned, given the proposed legislation upon repeal, will be voting ‘No’, in order to support the right to life of the unborn, with due regard to the equal right to life of the mother.” Signed:
