GOLD: 321 Down Syndrome Kerry Charity Shop
A local success story, this project serves to make its community more autonomous and innovative. It provides opportunities for people to volunteer and meet new people and to engage with members of the public. It also provides an opportunity for the public to engage with adults with Down Syndrome in an inclusive and friendly environment. Setting up a shop and bookshop has provided work experience to adults with Down Syndrome while also raising funds which are used to provide vital services in Kerry for children and adults with Down Syndrome.
