DEATH

Ellen (Nell) O’ Sullivan, nee O’ Donoghue of Cahercivee­n Cashlagh and formerly of Valentia died peacefully in Valentia Hospital on Friday. Her remains were removed from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home to St. Finian’s Church on Monday evening and she was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery after 11 a.m. Mass on Tuesday July 3rd. Predecease­d by her husband Patrick, Nell is survived by her sister Nora relatives and friends to whom we offer our sincere sympathy. Suaimhneas siorai da anam dilis.

CONGRATULA­TIONS

Congratula­tions to Rachel Dwyer daughter of Denis and Michelle, Beenbane who captained the U-16 Kerry Ladies football team to victory over Kildare in Tipperary on Wednesday evening July 4th. This was a very exciting semi- final ending in a draw and finishing after extra time on a score line of 6-18 to 4-16. Well done girls and good luck in the All Ireland Final.
