RING OF KERRY CYCLE

After many kilometres travelled by our fantastic cyclists and thousands of cups of tea and coffee made by our great volunteers, another Ring of Kerry comes to an end. An amazing atmosphere all around the ring from Killarney to Kenmare and everywhere in-between.

We would like to congratulate all the cyclists, the many volunteers of so many great charities and of course the organisers of this event.

We here in the Kerry Hospice Foundation would just like to make special mention to all the many people who cycled with Team Kerry Hospice and raised some much needed funds for Kerry Specialist Palliative Care services and all they provide.

We would not have any of these facilities but for the generosity of the people of Kerry and beyond.

We would like to also thank our huge team of volunteers who made today so special and spent the day keeping the cyclist fueled with teas and coffees and are still providing refreshments in Kenmare. We are blessed to have such a team.

Last but not least we would like to thank the many staff of both units who cycled the Ring and helped out on the medical teams around the county during the day.

All in all it was an amazing event to be apart of and we are so proud of Team Kerry Hospice who all contributed in many different ways during to day. It was great to see so many volunteers of so many great charities all pulling together for the one reason.

As always we are so thankful to all who supported Kerry Hospice in any way for this event.
