Possibly Glenbeigh/ G lencar staying with 15 players after the 48th minute schmozzle that saw them take exception to Johnny Carey’s challenge on Tommy Cahill. Had they lost any players for their reaction to the incident it might have given the numerical advantage to their opponents at a crucial juncture of a passionate encounter.

TALKING POINT

A very prompt finish to the competition by the Mid Kerry Board nearly seven weeks after their senior side exited the County Championship. With South Kerry due to be finished by the first weekend in December and North and East Kerry likely to go close to near Christmas, a proper break can be given to the clubs in the district.
