Tailteann Speed gives Brosnan Clonmel ticket

-

THE famous ‘Tailteann’ prefix will again be at Powerstown Park next Febuary following the success of Tailteann Speed in the Oaks Trial Stake at Limerick City last weekend. The daughter of NewInn Wonder and Blades of Steel dominated the qualifier from the opening round and the Gerry holian trained runner enters the Classic market at 16/1.

The Tailteann prefix is, of course, owned by Johnny Brosnan from Currow, who has enjoyed plenty success at the National meeting down through years.

Having run-up the Derby with Tailteann Legend in 1986, Johnny was part of the syndicate, along with PJ Keane from Abbeydorney and Richie Regan from Rathcormac, who owned Derby winner Tullamore ten years later.
