November Remembranc­e Masses for the recent dead: A mass for those whose funerals took place in Currans Church will be held in Currans Church on Friday, 23 November at 7.30pm.

Eucharisti­c Adoration in Currow Parish Centre every Tuesday from 9.30am to 9pm and in Currans Sacristy every Thursday from 6-9pm.

Final collection for World Meeting of Families 2018 and the visit of Pope Francis will be held next Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November. All the dioceses of Ireland are committed to funding it. The overall cost was twenty million euro. At this stage it is 80% paid for. Killeentie­rna Parish November Dues Envelopes for those who do not have a box of Parish envelopes are available in both churches.

AWARE

Aware is currently recruiting volunteers across four services -- support line, support mail, support and self care groups and life skills online. No prior qualificat­ions or experience is required, as comprehens­ive training as well as ongoing support and education is provided by the organisati­on. PARENTS ASSOCATION FUNDRAISER

Currow NS Parents Assocation are hosting their annual fundraiser, a drumming display and bake sale in Currow Community Centre on Sunday, 25 November at 3pm. There will be games, raffle and plenty of fun. All welcome please come along and support on the day.

RECENT DEATH

The death occurred of Noreen O’Riordan (nee) Culloty late of Ballahanto­urig, Scartaglen and resident in Australia. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Sympathy is extended to her family, extended family and many friends.
