Killarney Celtic make light work of Fenit Samphires

KILLARNEY Celtic made light work of disposing of Fenit Samphires with the game over at half time with Celtic 5-0 ahead.

They went ahead after twelve minutes with a Stevie O’Mahoney goal and a hat trick from Danny Roche put them in the driving seat. Fenit had a player sent off for handling the ball on the goal line which produced a penalty kick. Wayne Sparling added another just before the break.

Celtic eased up in the second half but tagged on another goal from Conor McCarthy.

Celtic are now six points clear at the top of the table and it is just a case of who will meet them in the final as they are leaps and bounds ahead of every other side in the division this season.

Tralee Dynamos 3 Dingle Bay Rovers 3

TRALEE Dynamos rich vein of form continued holding Dingle Bay Rovers to a draw in a tight game. They showed great tenacity in this game to come back from 3-1 down and earn a deserved draw at the end. Damien Diggins (2) and Stefan Cvetlovic scored for Dynamos while James Duggan, Sean Fitzgerald and James Rusk got the Dingle goals.

KILLORGLIN got back on track on Saturday night at Celtic Park with a good win over Killarney Celtic B. Lee

Carey (2), Dan Whittleton and Tommy Cahill, in his first game of the season, scored for the Launesider­s. Darragh

Bergin also made his debut on the night.

This win moves Killorglin up to fourth in the table and well in touch with the other title challenger­s.

QPR 0 Castleisla­nd B 2

CASTLEISLA­ND took the three points in a closely contested game. Their goalscorer­s were Stephen McCarthy and Dylan Browne.

Camp United 0 Classic FC 1

IN a tight game a solitary goal was good enough to win the game for Classic and it was scored by Brendan Sweeney. This win puts Classic second in the table three points behind CG Killarney.
