BALLYHAR Dynamos great form continued with an impressive win over Strand Road in a cracking game.

After a scoreless first half Ballyhar sealed this game with two goals in a two-minute spell from Shane O’Donoghue and Niall McCarthy. Ballyhar now sit at the top of the table with a six point advantage which will make their manager Donal O’Donoghue very pleased.

Listowel Celtic B 1 Asdee Rovers 0

THIS was a repeat of last season’s Division 1B final and once again Listowel Celtic came out in top but by a much lesser margin on this occasion. Just a single goal decided this game and it was scored by Paul O’Connor. This win elevated the Fealesider­s to second in the table six points behind Ballyhar Dynamos.

Ballyheigu­e Athletic 2 Atletico Ardfert 1

A BRACE of goals from Frankie Flaherty decided this game for Ballyheigu­e Athletic and keeps them in touch with the posse at the upper end of the division.

DENNY DIVISION 1B St Brendans Park 4 Castlegreg­ory Celtic 2

FOR the second time in the space of two weeks The Park defeated league leaders Castlegreg­ory and now have joined them at the top of the table on eighteen points. Aaron Ward (2), Adam Ward and Seán McGrath scored for the Tralee side. Maurice Slattery and Kevin Power scored for Castlegreg­ory.

KillarneyA­thleticB0 Inter Kenmare 5

INTER Kenmare won this game in a canter and move up to second in the table just a point behind The Park and Castlegreg­ory. Daniel Taylor (2), Tom O’Sullivan, Dermot Casey and Ryan Fitzpatric­k scored for the South Kerry side.

DENNY DIVISION 2A Annascaul Inch Utd 1 CS Clochain Breanainn 4

CSCB ended Annascaul/Inch United’s 100% record with a very impressive win which puts them into third place on the table. Michael O’Dowd, Gearoid Fitzgerald, Tim Moriarty and Jimmy O’Grady scored for the West Kerry side.

Mainebank 2 Killorglin B 2

THE local derby ended in stalemate with Killorglin displaying great spirit to come from behind twice and claim a point at the end.

Kieran O’Shea scored from the penalty spot while Aidan O’Sullivan secured the equaliser at the end with his corner kick going all the way to the net. Veteran Brendan Delaney scored both of Mainebank’s goals.

DENNY DIVISION 2B Kilmoyley Athletic 5 Ballyheigu­e Athletic B 3

KILMOYLEY Athletic’s 100% record extended to seven games on Saturday night at Mounthawk Park when they registered another win this time against neighbours Ballyheigu­e.

Top marksman Jordan Brick bagged a hat-trick, while Daniel Collins netted a brace of goals for the winners. Pádraig Behan, Nathan Guerin and Mark O’Regan were the Ballyheigu­e scorers.

Manor West 1 CG Killarney B 4

CG Killarney stay in touch with table toppers Kilmoyley Athletic with a comfortabl­e win over Manor West on Saturday night.

Conor Collins (2), Mike Griffin and David McSweeney scored for the winners with assists from Bogdan Pop (2), Mike Griffin and David McCarthy.

Their best players were Danny Sheahan, Dwayne Griffin and Gordan Buckley.

Lisard Wanderers 3 CG Killarney 10

IN their second game in 48 hours CG Killarney recorded another storming performanc­e with an emphatic win over Lisard Wanderers.

This win keeps them in second place on the table just two points behind league leaders Killmoyley Athletic. Conor Collins (3), David McSweeney (2), Mike Griffin (2), Gary Cassidy, Danny Sheehan and Bogdan Pop scored for the winners.

Jonathan Boulding, Aaron McClarnon and Rafa Nana scored for Lisard.

Classic FC C 1 Sneem Santos 4

SNEEM Santos recorded a good win over Classic FC with Tim Murphy scoring all four goals to cap a great individual performanc­e. This win moves Sneem up to third place on the table four points behind CG Killarney. Mike Duggan scored for Classic.
