Houlihan wins her third football All Star award

KERRY footballer Sarah Houlihan who has received her third TG4 All Star award at the Awards Banquet at the City West Hotel on Friday.

Houlihan had previously won All Stars in 2012 and 2013 in the right half forward position, but this time she has been picked at left corner forward.

Houlihan was outstanding for Kerry in both the league and championship, and had one of her best ever seasons in the green and gold jersey.

Aislinn Desmond was also one of three players nominated in the full back position.

Caherdaniel’s Siofra O’Shea received the Munster Young Player of the Year award after her exploits with the Kerry U-16 team this year.
