South Kerry footballers excel at Autralasian Games

FORMER Southern Gaels and Kerry footballers, Caroline Kelly,

above left, and Anna Galvin, recently tasted success at the Australasian Games in Melbourne, Australia. Caroline represented Queensland and won an Australasian All Star for her performances in the four-day tournament, while Anna represented New South Wales and won the Best Player award.

NEW South Wales were the tournament champions with Anna Galvin proving to be a vital player in the team and she capped a great tournament by scoring a goal in the final. CAROLINE Kelly will represent Australia in the 2019 World Games, which will be held in Ireland next summer.
