CLUB AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Laune Rangers GAA Club will take place on at 8pm on Saturday next, December 8th in our clubrooms at JP O’Sullivan Park. All members are encouraged to attend. Next week’s Lotto Jackpot will be €12,600 MERCHANDIS­E: With Christmas just three weeks away, Laune Rangers merchandis­e will be the perfect stocking filler this festive season! Merchandis­e co-ordinator Carol Naughton will be the clubrooms in JP O’Sullivan Park on Wednesday, December 5, from 6pm to 7pm and on Sunday, December 9 from 11am to 1pm. We even accept card payments! Contact Carol on 086 892 8934 for further queries. JUBILEE RACE NIGHT: Laune Rangers 25th Annual Race Night takes place in Bunkers Bar on Friday, December 28th. We are now taking entries into the race night – Horses are available to enter for €90 each with a prize of €250 for the winner of each race on the night. Each buyer can name their own Horse and, with the positions of Owner, Trainer & Jockey all to be filled, syndicates are welcome to enter a horse! GET INVOLVED: This year has barely come to a close, but planning starts immediatel­y for 2019. If any member is interested in getting involved in the club, the door is always open for new volunteers in all aspects of the Club – coaching, fundraisin­g, helping out on big match days in selling Club Lotto or operating the Scoreboard! Of course, the club is always looking for budding photograph­ers and/or journalist­s that want to gain some experience in the field.
