TEAMS- Our U13s were at home on saturday last to Killorglin C and we made home advantage count in a 3-0 win. This was a competitiv­e game where we lead 1-0 at the break when Robert Kelly set up Aaron o Sullivan for the lead goal. A further goal by Aaron in the second half ,his 10th of the season after after being set up by Colm o Sullivan & a late strike by Kristupas Griciunas sealed the win.In a good squad performanc­e best on the day were Fionn Coleman,Luke Henderson,Rian Brosnan ,Aaron o Sullivan& Michael o Sullivan.

Our U15s travelled to Killorglin FC in a premier game and were pipped in a 2-1 defeat.We led 1-0 at half time after an early Charlie Keating strike. Stephen Palmer hit the crossbar with a rasper that should have made the game safe but Killorglin hit two golas in the last 10 minutes to take all three points. This was a terriffic performanc­e by our Boys against a very talented Killorglin squad. Best on the Day were Fionan Griffin, Colm o Shea, Hugh Walsh, Luke Ring, Aaron Burke & the impressive Charlie Keating.

Our U17s continued their impressive start to their league campaign under the guidance of Tony & Danny with a good 6-3 away win v Mastergeeh­a.

We lead 2-0 early on with strikes from Jason Brennan & Cian Cronin but the home team hit back to make it 2-2 and had a chance to take the lead but Cian Ring averted the danger in the Ballyhar goal. Peter Cosgrave made it 3-2 on the stroke of half time with a long range effort.Two further goals by Peter early in the second half followed by a goal from Nathan Callaghan sealed the win in a good squad performanc­e where all contribute­d to the victory. Both teams & coaches are to be commended on a sporting contest which was well referred by Tom Kerrisk.
