Caball’s Christmas Toy appeal

-

CHRISTMAS should be one of the happiest days of the year for children but sadly for many less fortunate youngsters it can be a day marred with sadness.

Once again Caball’s Toymaster in Tralee and St Vincent de Paul have teamed up to make sure that doesn’t happen to any child in Kerry and that Christmas - as it should be - is a day of joy for everyone.

The Caball’s/SVP annual appeal has been a great success in previous years, with hundreds of children from less well-off families in Tralee and its surrounding areas receiving toys thanks to thousands of euros in donations from the public.

To help a child in need all you need do is drop into Caballs Toymaster on Bridge Street in Tralee and buy a special voucher - for any amount.

All the money raised will then go to St Vincent de Paul who will use it to buy toys and gifts from a wish list submitted by local children. If you wish, you can also buy a toy on the list.

Anne Laide of Caballs said she and her staff are always delighted to be able to help St Vincent de Paul and they are absolutely determined that no child should go have to go without a toy on Christmas morning.

To make a donation or to find out more about this hugely important appeal just call into Caballs. Every child should smile on Christmas morning so please do what you can to help. Remember no amount is too small so even if you can only spare a euro or two please help make a child’s Christmas.
