A festive market occasion that’s not to be missed...

The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition) - - CHRISTMAS IN TRALEE -

DECEMBER 8 kick starts the Christmas celebrations in Cahersiveen. But one event that continues to grow in popularity is the annual Christmas Market in The Kerry Coast Hotel, starting at 11am.

The Christmas Market has been an integral part of festivities over the past few years and is an event that people enthusiastically engage with and embrace. It’s an opportunity for local food producers, craft makers and artisans to gather together and showcase their wares in a way that would otherwise not present itself.

“We will be hosting a whole range of tables from our local producers with artisan goods like craft work, glass lights, decorations, knitting, crochet, jewellery and candles,” said Lisa O’Shea, PRO of Cahersiveen Traders’ Association.

Lisa said customers can expect a wide range of tasty food products including chocolates, jams, relishes and chutneys, and, of course, some beautiful Christmas baking treats from many of Cahersiveen’s well known producers.

“As always we thank the owners and staff of The Kerry Coast Hotel for their cooperation. We’re looking forward to a great turn out again this year and everyone is welcome to come along and share in the Christmas atmosphere. We wish everyone a happy and peaceful Christmas,” said Lisa.
