Keep your Christmas shopping spree in Dingle this year...

-

DINGLE is a town well accustomed to catering for customers’ needs all year round due to a high footfall. But Christmas is always that bit more intimate for locals. A month long shopping promotion undertaken by the Business Chamber and Farmers’ Markets and Craft Fairs is part of the Business Chamber’s programme for Christmas.

Discounts and more will feature in this year’s shopping promotion and the Chamber’s main aim is to encourage people to shop local to ensure local employment remains vibrant and trade is kept in the peninsula this Christmas.

Dingle is an amazing town in the sense it has a very broad range of stores offering both practical and bespoke gifts. The region is full of artisan crafts and clothes shops meaning gift selections are more personalised and varied. A shopping spree in Dingle is further complimented by the many cafes, restaurants and bars that add comfort, choice and atmosphere to the town at Christmas.

Risteard Mac Liam of the Dingle Business Chamber said this is a vitally important time for the locally economy. “We look forward to welcoming our visitors over the festive season and New Year. We feel the town has a real and genuine charm at Christmas with the Wren’s Day, the Fireworks and other activities which entertain both young and old, Bígí Linn,” said Risteard.
