Top two teams in U-12 Girls Premier win

U-12 GIRLS PREMIER

KILLARNEY Celtic White continue to lead the way by three points from Inter Kenmare as both sides added three points from their games.

Killarney Celtic White defeated MEK Starz 6-0 while Inter Kenmare also won at home defeating Iveragh United 3-0. Naoishe O’Donoghue, Eve Culhane, Abbie Finnan and Leah O’Grady got the Celtic White scores.

Listowel Celtic continue to keep the pressure on the two sides above them after they saw off Killarney Celtic Green at Celtic Park. Lisa Slattery scored four and Laura Falvey and two for the North Kerry girls while Jessica Leggate got both goals for Killarney Celtic.

Goals from Meabh Carmody, Grace Reilly, Ciara Quilter and Grace O’Dowd gave Fenit the win over Killarney Athletic in Woodlawn on Sunday.

U-12 PREMIER

THINGS have tightened up in the JK Sports U-12 Premier. The Park had a good win over Killarney Athletic who were in second place at the start of play. Goals from Noah Carroll, Sam Slattery and Ronan Carroll gave the Tralee side the win at Christy Leahy Park.

Listowel Celtic have moved level with Athletic and Tralee Dynamos after the beat the latter 2-1 at home. Ruairi O’Connell and Conor Sweeney got the Listowel Celtic goals with Conor Lucey replying for Dynamos.

Inter Kenmare dropped their first points of the season when they went down 1-0 at home to Killarney Celtic. Joshua Williams got the all- important goal midway through the second half.

U-12 DIVISION 1

THE two unbeaten sides in the JK Sports 12 Division 1 met with Fenit keeping their record unblemishe­d as the defeated Killarney Athletic 3-0 for their seventh win from 7. Tom Quilter, Aaron Harty and Jayden Deady for the Fenit goal while at the other end Jack Dwyer saved an Athletic penalty.

Tralee Dynamos B missed the chance to go joint second and they remain two points behind Athletic as they were held to a 4-4 draw away at Mastergeeh­a. Francis O’Brien (2), Cody O’Sullivan and Mollie Duggan got the Dynamos goals while Calvin O’Sullivan was impressive for the Tralee side in goals.

Camp Juniors are also well in contention after they came from behind to defeat Killarney Celtic B. Colm Janot put Celtic B ahead at the break but goals from Dean Goodwin and 2 from Dylan Harrington gave Camp Juniors three valuable points.

Ballyhar will be happy after they continue to improve and they defeated Park B 4-2. Jake Keating, Sean Barry, Gearoid Looney and Davin Quilter got the home side goals with Oliver Lata and Sam Akinyemi replying for the Park.

U-12 DIVISION 2 SOUTH

GOING into the game Iveragh United and MEK were unbeaten in their five games and locked together on 15 points. After the game it was the South Kerry side that remain unbeaten thanks to a hard fought 2-1 win. Iveragh went 2-0 up thanks to goals from Daithi Sugrue and David Kennedy with James Clifford pulling one back for MEK.

Killorglin B are within 2 points of second place after their 4-3 win over Tralee Dynamos C. Rioghan O’Sullivan was in outstandin­g form hitting all his sides goals while Cormac O’Riordan saved a penalty.

Showing how tight this Division is the other two games ended in draws. Mastergeeh­a and Killarney Athletic C shared 6 goals. Sean Cox 2 and Tadgh Herlihy got the Mastergeeh­a goals with Bryan O’Connor, William Roguago and Cillian Coffey replying for Athletic C.

Darragh O’Sullivan equalised for Inter Kenmare C as they drew 1-1 at Killarney Celtic C.

U-12 Division 2 North

The top three sides in the JK Sports U-12 Division 2 North all scored three goals with only leaders LB Rovers conceding one goal.

They beat Ballyheigu­e 3-1 with Cody Goggin, Oran O’Sullivan and Eamon O’Connor on the mark while Adam Thornton replied for Ballyheigu­e.

Camp Juniors stay level with LB Rovers on 15 points but they do have a game in hand after they saw off Fenit B 3-0 while Park C who are three points behind the leaders but also have games in hand defeated Dingle Bay Rovers 3-0 away.
