Iveragh United are new U-14 Premier leaders

U-14 PREMIER

IVERAGH United are the new leaders of the Quills Woollen Mills U-14 Premier, by a point, after they were 5-1 away winners at Killorglin. Donagh Shine and Zac Fayen both got two each with Oisin Breen getting the other goal.

The battle of the Celtic finished level with Pat Mulvihill and Oisin Healy scoring for Listowel while Jack O’Sullivan and Robert Brooks got the Killarney goals.

U-14 DIVISION 1

KILLARNEY Athletic continue to lead the Quills Woollen Mills U-14 Division 1 thanks to a 2-0 away win at Fenit. Josh Coffey opened the scoring for Athletic following a Thomas Healy cross. Ryan McCarthy flicked home a second after a Maidhci Lynch shot.

Tralee Dynamos are only one win behind Athletic following their impressive win away at Killarney Celtic B. The goals came from Evan and Tom Quilligan, Luke Horgan, Kian Sheehan, Sean Whealan and Alex Hoare.

U-14 DIVISION 2

DINGLE Bay Rovers extended their lead at the top of the U-14 Division 1 but have a game more played. Their job was made easier when MEK goalkeeper Mathew O’Connor was forced off with a muscle injury very early in the game. Dingle Bay Rovers goals came from James Hoare, Oscar Donnegan, Paddy Ryan, Patrick Cahill, Kieran Moran and Edgar.

LB Rovers moved two points ahead of MEK and into second place following an extraordin­ary game away to Mastergeeh­a B which produced 14 goals.

Thavien Buckley (3), Mikey Dunworth and Darragh Fitzpatric­k had two each, while Padraig Fogarty and Patrick Walsh were on the mark for the Rovers. Jack Tagney, Gavin Cronin, Jack O’Donoghue, Euan Evans and Adam Murphy replied for Mastergeeh­a B.
