Friday night win ensures Camp Juniors stay top of U-16 Premier

U-16 PREMIER

CAMP Juniors open the weekend’s action by defeating Inter Kenmare on Friday night. The game was played on the Killarney Celtic all-weather pitch and goals from Cian Brosnan (4), Oisin Breen, Kian Clancy and Cian Wright sees them move onto four wins from four played.

Killorglin are chasing hard and their win over Killarney Celtic keeps them just three points behind Camp. Dylan Moriarty (2), Cillian Burke and Mikey O’Donnell got their goals while a Cian Mc- Mahon hit a cracking 25 yarder against the win for Celtic.

The Park put a dent in Ballyhar’s aspiration­s of a top 2 finish as they won 4-2 at Christy Leahy Park. Ryan Guerin, David O’Callaghan, Rob Vassiu and Dan Fisher scored for the Park with Peter Cosgrave continuing his hot streak with both Ballyhar goals.

U-16 DIVISION 1

WITH unbeaten leaders Rattoo Rovers, four wins from four on 12 points, not playing the Park B moved onto the same mark but with a game more played. The Tralee side defeated Iveragh United thanks to goals from Sean O’Connell (3), Mark Brick, Cian O’Neill, Ben Hannafin and Cillian Murphy.

Killarney Athletic added another three points to their total with a 4-1 away win over Windmill United. Rossa Bellew, Will Shine (2) and Junior Alade were the Athletic scorers with Eric McMahon replying for Windmill United.

Fenit will be happy with their 3-0 win at home to Killorglin B with the winners goals coming from Paddy Walsh and Eddie McCarthy.
