KILFLYNN CANCER SUPPORT GROUP TABLE QUIZ

IT’S one of the main Christmas events in Kilflynn as people get together to support the Kilflynn Cancer Support Group’s fundraising initiative, and also enjoy a great evening’s entertainment.

The annual table quiz takes place on Friday, December 28 at 9pm and it is a simulcast quiz that takes place between both village pubs - Parker’s Pub and Herbert’s Bar. Conor and Daragh Breen have been drafted in to help with the questions and also to provide some musical entertainment.

Proceeds from the event will be divided between Recovery Haven, Kerry Hospice and Kerry Cancer Support. As well as being a great fundraiser, the quiz has become an integral part of Christmas celebrations in the Kilflynn community with local families returning each year.

And keep in mind that the quiz night is not all about answering questions – it’s about having the craic and meeting people. There will be numerous auctions and raffles on the night, while the organisers would be grateful to receive more donations before December 28. If anyone knows of any businesses out there who may be interested in donating prizes to raffle on the night it would be greatly appreciated.
