Christmas Time is Gourmandises Time in Ballybunion

-

CHRISTMAS is a time for treats and no where will one find nicer treats than at ‘Gourmandises Time’ in Ballybunion where John Pier and Veronica Auvert provide quality chocolate. Gourmandises is the French for ‘treat’, which is precisely what customers can expect to find. It’s a shop where chocolate, pastries and confectionary are handmade with an artisan flare.

The chocolate used is in the top three in the world for quality, while John Pier is highly qualified in chocolate and pastry making and is wedded to the concept of hand making all the shop’s products. If quality chocolate is your thing, then a visit to this shop is a must.

The shop (located next to the tourist office on Maine Street) has taken on a vibrant festive feel as delicious chocolate shaped reindeers, Christmas trees, jigsaws and Santa figurines will leave a delightful impression on the eye...and the palate! These would make excellent gifts with a wide variety of products to choose from. Gluten free Christmas cakes and festive logs are also handmade in-store.

Gourmandises Time is opened since April of this year, so this is John Pier and Veronica’s first Christmas in Ballybunion. Naturally, they’ve pulled out all the stops in creating some deliciously creative chocolate treats in time for Christmas.

“It’s very festive at the moment in the shop, and we have a large selection to suit all tastes. We use all natural ingredients in our chocolate and it’s handmade with care and attention. We have a wonderful selection of gifts and tasty treats for you to choose from,” Veronica said.
