Walkers enjoy Ballylongford and environs at their mid-winter best

THE Ballylongford Tidy Towns group members are thanking everyone who took part in a recent annual fundraising walk for their work in what was the best year yet.

“A massive ‘thank you’ to all who supported our event. It was a cold but beautiful day to get a breath of fresh air,” member Helen Lane said.

It was Pierce Keoghan who meanwhile won the 10km, with Padraig Regan in second place.
