€50k offered for English Derby runner

WE all hear about the huge money that is being offered for greyhounds which have qualified for the Derby and Oaks at the upcoming national coursing meeting, those viewed as potential champions anyway, but there is a man out there called Andy Johnson who is looking for a top-class track dog for the English Derby and is prepared to pay €50,000 for him.

Johnson went to the expense of putting a half-page advertisement in the Sporting Press last week and he wants a response from people who have a greyhound with proven form and will have no problem getting the 550yds trip.
