YOGA CLASS AT NIGHT
In the Ballinskelligs Community Centre starting Monday, 14th of January 2019. What you’ll need, a Yoga mat(some available if you don’t have one), a bottle of water, blanket or warm clothes for the relaxation at the end of the class, warm comfortable stretchy clothes, footwear bear feet or socks. FILM SCREENING
The inspiring, award winning film The Camino Voyage/ Iomramh an Chamino, will be screened in The Sea Lodge Hotel, Waterville on Saturday, 19th January at 8.00 pm. The film traces the journey of a naomhóg crew from Dingle on an epic 2,500 km modern day Celtic Odyssey over a three year period in 2014 2016. The crew, including the writer Dany Sheehy (who tragically drowned the following year), two musicians Breanndán Ó Beaglaoich and Glen Hansard, the artist Liam Holden, and stonemason Breandán Páid Ó Muircheartaigh were filmed as they embarked on the ‘Camino by Sea’ - a journey from Dingle to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain. SYMPATHY
We would like to offer our sympathies to the family and friends of Jim Doyle, Sussa, Ballinskelligs and also we wish to extend our sympathies to all the family and friends of Mary Reardon, the Glen, Ballinskelligs We are delighted to announce the wedding of Diarmuid Coakley and Ann McEnery of Muckross who wed on New Years Day. Ann was walked down the aisle of Muckross Church by their 15month old son John. John played a blinder. John was dressed in a knitted Aran cardigan made by his granny. Ann wore a silk high waisted trousers and English lace top. Bridesmaids who were Ann’s sisters all wore their own style while the groomsmen a mixture of family and friends were dressed in black tuxs. The couple met at a wedding 4 years ago, it was love at first sight. They moved back to Kerry a year later. Diarmuid a national school teacher in Shrone NS, appeared as Sean McDiarmuida in the play “Patrick”, and the Dame in the Rathmore panto. Afters were held in the Brehon Hotel with family and friends. John was tucked up in bed but heard all about the celebrations. The couple honeymooned in Castlemarytr Hotel and Resort. The couple had an amazing wedding and if so could do it all over again...
