HANDBALL CLUB

The Red Fox Inn organised a very successful 8km. fund-raising walk to St. Finian’s Holy Well, Comane on Saturday last.

There was a good attendance in aid of Glenbeigh Handball Club. Walkers were greeted at the Holy Well by Back piper music.

The Rosary was recited by Mary Roche and a poem was recited by Noreen Ahern. Walkers then returned to the Red Fox for music and refreshments provided by the Mulvihill family.

A raffle was held with all prizes kindly sponsored. Joe McGill recorded the day’s events for Radio Kerry.

The Red Fox Inn and Glenbeigh Handball Club made presentations to Dominick Lynch, Jonh Joe Quirke, Jack O’Shea and Rory O’ Connor in recognition of their world and all-Ireland successes during the season. Glenbeigh Handball Club is very thankful to the management and staff of the Red fox Inn, The Holy Well Committee, Order of Malta Stewards, Registration takers and ticket sellers, Raffle sponsors Radio Kerry, The Kerryman and Kerry’s Eye newspapers and to all for their help and support on the day
