Receiving and welcoming the cheque, Curranes NS Principal Emer Nelligan thanked Lee Strand on behalf of the staff, management, pupils and parents.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lee Strand for the very generous prize of €500. We have an Active School Flag, and we will use this money to buy extra sports gear and equipment for our school,” said Ms Nelligan.

Fifth class pupils Neil Reidy and Caoimhe O’Connor went into Radio Kerry on Friday evening after school and recorded an avert for Lee Strand Milk, which will be played on Radio Kerry for the next while.
