WEST KERRY GAA

THE Lee Strand West Kerry League 2019 begins this weekend with Lispole playing Dingle in Lispole on Saturday at 11am and Annascaul playing Castlegregory in Annascaul on Sunday at 12pm.

At the start of the football season in West Kerry the West Kerry Board would like to thank Lee Strand for their continued sponsorship of our West Kerry League. Beir bua agus beannacht!

Scór na bPáistí

SCÓR na bPáistí (primary school) club competitions will be taking place next month.

We are currently looking for singers, dancers, actors, musicians and quiz teams to participate. Please contact your local GAA/LGFA Club Scór/Cultural Officer for an entry form.

Underage Football

MANY thanks to Safeway Environmental who are the main sponsors of West Kerry Underage Football.

Our West Kerry U-14s received new Jersey’s and our West Kerry Under 16s received new Jerseys sponsored by Safeway Environmental of Teer Brandon at a presentation before Christmas and West Kerry Coiste na nÓg presented Laura Ruddy Dowd with a framed copy of both sets of jerseys before Christmas.

AT the West Kerry Coiste na nÓg AGM held last Saturday the following officers were selected on the West Kerry Coiste na nÓg executive for 2019 – Cathaoirleach Eamon Ó Corcora (Chaislean Ghriaire), Cisteoir Robaird Ó Brosnachain (Lios Póil), Runaí Philomena Knightly (Aba Na Scáil) & Estelle Fitzgerald (Lios Póil), Oifigí Teanga Declán Ó Suilleabhan (An Ghaeltacht).
