FILM SCREENING

The inspiring, award winning film The Camino Voyage will be screened in The Sea Lodge Hotel, Waterville on Saturday, 19th January at 8.00 pm. The film traces the journey of a naomhóg crew from Dingle on an epic 2,500 km modern day Celtic Odyssey over a three year period in 2014 – 2016. The crew, including the writer Dany Sheehy (who tragically drowned the following year), two musicians Breanndán Ó Beaglaoich and Glen Hansard, the artist Liam Holden, and stonemason Breandán Páid Ó Muircheartaigh were filmed as they embarked on the ‘Camino by Sea’ - a journey from Dingle to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain. The film, made by Dónal Ó Céilleachair has won many awards at film festivals since its release in 2018. For information and booking contact 0872931463.

SKELLIG SIX18 DISTILLERY

As you probably know, it takes several years to produce whiskey so we’re all going to have to wait a little while to get our hands on a bottle of Skellig Six18 whiskey. The good news is that it takes a little less time to distil gin so we’ll be launching our Skellig Six18 Gin later in the year. We can’t wait to share it with you!!
