BALLYHAR DYNAMOS FC

TEAMS - On Tuesday 8th our u16s secured a great away point in a thrilling 3-3 draw away to killarney Celtic in this premier division encounter.It was all square at 1-1 at the break with Aaron o Shea hitting the net.We trailed 3-1 with twenty minutes remaining but a combinatio­n of great team character & attack minded football enabled Peter Cosgrave to be on the end of two moves to tie up the game at 3-3.On the night all played there part but John Power, Anthony Kelliher, Hugh Walsh, Dillon Butler, Harry Byrne & Stephen Palmer had fine games.On Saturday we had three home games at Murt Scott Park., Our U13s continued there rich vein of form with a 4-1 win over MEK utd.This was an entertaini­ng game & closer than the scoreline suggests. We went behind early on but Michael o Sullivan equalised after 15 minutes & we took the lead before half time when an Aaron o Sullivan Shot took a deflection to give us the lead.Fionn Coleman chipped in with two second half goals , both after displaying great dribbling skills to seal the victory.All the squad played there part with Michael Fitzgerald, Fionn Coleman & the impressive Luke Henderson playing excepional­ly well. Our u15s were next up where they did everything but secure the victory going down 2-1 to Killarney Celtic.

We led 1-0 at the break when Charlie Keating put us ahead & the same player struck the post minutes afterwards.Celtic were clinical in the second half scoring twice from there two chances.Best on the day for Ballyhar Dynamos James Horgan, Hugh walsh, Jack Costelloe & Aaron Burke.

Our U17s came out to Killarney Celtic in a 9 goal thriller going down 5-4. The sides were deadlocked at the short whistle at 1-1 with Tomas Scott giving us the lead.There were 7 goals scored in the second half with Peter Cosgrave scoring a Hat trick to leave the final score at 5-4.Great credit to both teams for serving up an end to end game On the day we had good performace­s from Cian Ring, John Power, Anthony Kelliher , Conor o Sullivan, James o Leary, Patrick o Connor , Conor Henderson & Jason Brennan.On sunday our seniors advanced to the second round of the greyhound bar cup by virtue of there 6-1 home win v listowel Celtic b.we led 4-0 at the break with goals from Diarmuid o Mahony, Shane o Donoghue and two from Niall McCarthy. Shane scored two more in the second half to complete his hat trick in what was a good squad performanc­e and a break from the weekly league games.
