Lotto: No winner of our lotto draw 04/01/2019, numbers drawn were 2, 11, 14 & 24. Sellers prize winner Gneeveguil­la Po, €50 Y/t prize winner John Vaughan Lisheen 450 to Paul Moynihan Rathmore, €40 each to Nora & Jerry c/o Gneevguill­a Po, Shane Nagle Rathmore & Paudie O’ Connor Scartaglin. Bonus not won numbers drawn were 4, 15, 22 & 27. Next week’s jackpot €15,600 plus €1,000 bonus.

St Valentine’s 5K: A new race in Gneeveguil­la Ac calendar is St Valentines 5K February 9th in Demense Killarney. The race commences at 11.30 am, The Old Monastry is the race headquarte­rs, the prize giving will be afterwards, with prizes for senior men & ladies, master men and ladies and juveniles. Entry fee is €15.00 for adults reduced fee for juveniles. This race replaces the 4 x 5K which the club use to feature. We are hoping a lot of our schools will participat­e. We will also promote the Rathmore to Rathmore 4K on March 9th, that will able followed by The Jack O’ Keeffe Road Races on Easter Monday which is a 4 miler. There will be a special prize allocated for all those who will participat­e in all three events.

Recent Winners: Well done to Saoirse Tompkins who has had many a win recently. Caroline Murphy & Mary O’ Connell won their sections in Beaufort on New Years Day. Robert Purcell & Andrew Purcell were also in fine form recently.

Sympathy: The club extends it sincere sympathy to Robert & The Purcell Family on the tragic death of Mary Purcell, Listowel on Monday last. May she rest in peace.

Club Training: Club training resumes this week. Boherbue Tuesday 6.30 – 7.30 pm and Fridays in Barradubh 6.30 – 7.30 pm. There is no training in Gneeveguil­la at the moment., children who did attend training in Gneeveguil­la can attend training in either f the other venues. The bus will operate from Gneeveguil­la to both other training venues, should you wish to travel by bus contact Tom Joe on 087/ 9339087. In a few weeks we hope to resume training in Gneeveguil­la.
