A DAY OF MINDFUL NOURISHMEN­T’

PARISH HEART SCREENING OFFER

Pulsewave Ireland Heart & Artery screening in Killarney next week. The Bpro certified to measure CASP to 99.17% in comparison to an angiogram and as seen on BBC News. As Heart Disease is still the biggest killer in Ireland we try to make it easy for everyone to be screened. Normal cost of screening is €50 per person. Parish offer €30 per person for that we check your Blood Pressure, Heart Rhythm, Casp of heart, arterial flexabilit­y and Blood flow. We can access the risk of heart attack or stroke with a simple non-invasive test. Venue as follows: Tuesday 15th January the Killarney Court Hotel. U13 DIV 1: Castleisla­nd 4 Mastergeeh­a 1

In this game the boys played the league leaders. In an even opening half both sides created some chances with Castleisla­nd leading 2-1 at the break. Jack Tagney got Mastergeeh­a goal midway through the first half. In the second half Mastergeeh­a pushed forward but were caught on the break when the home side went further ahead. Castleisla­nd scored again to ensure the points.

U15 DIV 1: Mastergeeh­a 3 Ballyhigue 0

The boys had a good win at home on Saturday morning. All played well with Jack Higgins and Oisin O Leary (2) getting the goals.

U17 Mastergeeh­a 3 Tralee Dynamos 0 - In the game the boys created the better chances in the opening part of the game but needed Con Fleming to make a good save mid way through the half to keep the score at nil all. However in the 30th minute Mastergeeh­a took the lead when Ian O Connor finished off a good move. Shortly after the boys doubled their lead with Darragh O Riordan scoring following a quick break. In the second half the visitors pulled a goal back early on and got level mid way through the half. After this both sides created some chances until 80th minute when Philip O Leary passed to Ian O Connor to score. In the closing stages of the game the boys defended well to ensure the points. All played well.
