Open day for farmers in Fealebridg­e co-op store

NORTH Cork Creameries has announced an Open Day at its Feale Bridge Co-op Branch Store on Thursday, 24th January next.

The Open Day marks the relaunch of the newly renovated store. Some 20 companies and organisati­ons will have representa­tives with stands, new products and advice as well as all current goods and services offered by the store.

Farmers and customers of the store are invited to drop in for a visit with discounts, bargains and prizes to be won on the day including vouchers, fertiliser, feedstuffs and more.

Companies attending include Agrilink Farm Services - Auctus First Fibre, Biocel, Cargill Animal Nutrition, CPL Fuels Ireland, DeLaval Kerry, Electrowel­d, Fullwood Packo, Inform Nutrition, Makita, McGraths Lime Bedding , Munster Herd Health, Norbrook Laboratori­es Veterinary, O’Donovan Engineerin­g, Pasture Base, Rhyno Feeds, Stradbally Farm Services and Teagasc.

The Open Day comes on the first anniversar­y of the successful­ly completed merger between North Cork Co-op with Feale Bridge and Headley Bridge, and it follows significan­t investment by the co-op in the future of its branch store at Feale Bridge.

North Cork Co-operative Creameries is an engine for rural economic developmen­t throughout its operating region. The co-op processes over 240m litres of milk annually, supplied by local farming families. It has an already well invested capacity to increase processing throughput to over 360m litres, and this will cater for ongoing expansion by milk producers.

The co-operative is an innovative company offering excellent dairy products and food ingredient­s manufactur­ed to the highest internatio­nal standards. The co-operative’s dairy food ingredient­s include milk powders, caseins, whey and bulk and pre-packed butter for a diverse range of food manufactur­ing applicatio­ns.

North Cork also supplies fresh liquid milk, whipping creams and butters to leading multiple retailers.
