5. THE KERRY GREENS TRALEE
The Kerry Greens are pleased to announce a free public event which will, they say, appeal to all ages. The event features a talk and slideshow presentation, which will be hosted by Green Party Senator Grace O’Sullivan.
O’Sullivan, a mother, ecologist, activist and Senator, is the Green Party’s candidate in the South constituency in May’s European elections.
The public meeting will be held at the Rose Hotel, on Thursday 17th January at 8pm. All welcome
6. TABLE QUIZ IN HUDDLE BAR
Tralee Dynamos FC are holding a table quiz this Thursday night in The Huddle Bar starting at 8.30pm.
The event is a fundraiser for their Under 12 team who are heading to Kidderminster Harriers FC in England later this month.
There will also be a large selection of spot prizes during the raffle on the night. Teams of four cost €40 and it’s sure to be a great night.
7. BALLYMAC GAA SET FOR FINALE OF STRICTLY
BALLYMAC GAA will take to the dancefloor on the 26th of this month where in Ballygarry House Hotel, they will stage their 2019 Strictly Come Dancing Event.
This will be the finale of this ever popular event and will no doubt see dancers giving their all on the night.
Tickets for the night are on sale from Teach Beag, The Halfway Bar, Horans Health Store and O’Riada’s Bar.
8. FOIL, ARMS & HOG IN THE INEC THIS MONTH
THE brilliant Foil, Arms and Hog are back in the INEC at the end of this month, January 31.
Performing their new show ‘Craic-ling’, seeing the trio live is not something you want to miss out on.

9. BOOK YOUR SPACE IN KERINS 10KM RUN
A NEW year brings with it the chance to make a fresh start of things, so why not take part in the annual Kerins O’Rahilly’s 5km & 10km run?
This year’s edition of the run will take place on Sunday January 27 from the clubhouse in Tralee; this years run will start at 11am with the 5km starting five minutes later.

10. GET EXERCISING THIS WEEKEND WITH PARKRUN
WHY not try to head down to take part in one of the many parkruns taking place around Kerry at the weekends? There are five parkruns in Kerry: Tralee, Killarney, Listowel, Inch Beach and the Tralee junior parkrun.
These free 5km events are run every weekend by volunteers and they have been proven to be extremely popular in improving both physical and mental health.
The Tralee. Listowel and Killarney parkruns are held every Saturday morning from 9:30am onwards while the Tralee Junior parkrun takes place on Sunday at 9:30am - these 2km events are aged for children from 4-14 years old. People can register and print off their barcode at parkrun.ie.
