Kerry stars to the fore as Cork and Limerick play Tralee friendly

WOMENS LEAGUE OF IRELAND FRIENDLY Cork City v Limerick FC Sunday February 17 at 2pm

LADIES soccer will take centre stage at Mounthawk Park next Sunday when it is the venue for a pre season friendly game between Cork City and Limerick FC. The kick off is at 2pm.

Cork City had two Kerry players Savannah McCarthy and Hannah O’Donoghue in their team last season, while Listowel Celtic’s Rebecca Horgan played for Limerick FC.

Following the game there will be a coaching session for Kerry’s Girls ETP players which is open to all to come along and watch. It is a chance for soccer fans to support the ladies game and it is well worth dropping in to see the standard of the game at ladies level, which is supposed to be very good.
