Fifth win for Casleisland

CASTLEISLAND recorded their first win of the season when they defeated Corca Dhuibhne at the Crageens last Saturday.
The visitors had a good start when they scored an intercept try against the run of play. Castleisland responded well and Thomas Conway crashed over for a try that Pádraig Heffernan converted.
The home side proceeded to dominate the rest of the game and Conway struck for two further tries to claim his hat-trick, whilst Shane Browne did likewise with three of his own.
Castleisland lost a player to the sin bin midway through the second half and Corca Dhuibhne took advantage of their numerical superiority by scoring a try of their own. The home side responded well once more however and Dylan O’Sullivan completed their scoring with another try.
