SCHOOL ENROLEMENT

Parents who wish the enrol their children in Scartaglen NS for September 2019 can download the enrolment application form on the school website.

Forms will also be available in the school. Please return completed forms to the school by Wednesday February 20th for further details and information contact the school at 066 7147104 or by email info@scartaglenns.ie

AFTERNOON OF PRAYER

Denis O’Leary will again be present for an Afternoon of Prayer in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Scartaglin on Sunday next February 17th which will commence as usual with The Rosary at 2.30pm and all are welcome.

PARENTS COUNCIL

Scartaglen National School Parents Council would like to thank all those who supported their Christmas Raffle. They would also like to thank all their sponsors for their generous prizes, which helped to make the raffle such a wonderful success. They would also like to remind people to spread the word that there is a defibrillator located in the shelter on the school ground. In the event of any emergency, it is accessible to the public at all times.

CHILDCARE FUNDRAISING

Scartaglen Childcare Centre fundraising clothing collection will take place over the next few weeks . Collectors will take clothing and paired shoes suitable for re wear, bed linen (not duvets or pillows) as they are charged for their disposal), curtains, handbags and belts. This collection is ongoing so if you miss this collection, you can still drop bags into the centre Monday Friday 9am to 6pm. Thanks to all who have donated to date.

SPORTS INJURIES

Aisling O Sullivan from the Tralee Physiotherapy Clinic will give a talk on sports injuries in Castleisland Library on this Saturday morning February 16th at 11am. The contact number is 066 7163403.
