Allonthe line in Round 2 of the senior club c’ship

- SENIOR John O’Dowd

GROUP 1 Templenoe v Kenmare Shamrocks Friday, 7pm

LAST year’s intermediate kingpins, Templenoe, were miles off the pace against Dr Crokes, and they will be praying for Tadhg Morley to be fit to play here. Shamrocks are also sweating over Stephen O’Brien, who went off injured against Kerins O’Rahillys, but Seán O’Shea looks unstoppable.

Verdict: Kenmare Shamrocks

Dr Crokes v Kerins O’Rahillys Saturday, 7pm

THE Killarney side made a statement of intent last time out, with Tony Brosnan and David Shaw in red-hot form. The Strand Road men were just pipped by Kenmare and lost Tommy Walsh to injury in the first half. They will need the big man here.

Verdict: Dr Crokes.
