THIS is an intriguing group, and Ballymac will have been boosted by the narrow victory over Churchill in such a hard-fought battle. The South Kerry men went down by four points to Brosna, and they could be facing another defeat.

Churchill v Brosna Sunday, 2.30pm

BROSNA will take comfort from their weekend victory and they will, once more, look to Paul Walsh and Adam Barry for attacking invention. Churchill manager William Kirby will demand a response from his team after losing to Ballymac, and home advantage may prove decisive.

IT will be difficult for Firies to pick up the pieces after such a disappointing defeat against Listry, and they will need to improve to get the better of Finuge, who recorded the narrowest of wins against Keel. This should be tight, but Finuge to shade it. Finuge

MARC Ó Sé will have been absolutely thrilled with what he witnessed from his charges in the nine-point victory over Firies, and he will want to continue to build on that winning momentum when they entertain Keel this time out. The Mid Kerry men were unlucky against Finuge, but may come up just short again.

GROUP 4 Ballydonoghue v St Senans Saturday, 7pm

BALLYDONOGHUE were left shellshocked by their last-gasp defeat by Skellig Rangers, and they find themselves in the last-chance saloon in this local derby. St Senans were held by Listowel Emmets in a game where they blew a decent cushion. This could be one of the matches of the weekend.

Skellig Rangers v Listowel Emmets Sunday, 2.30pm

SKELLIG Rangers were considered the odd ones out in this North Kerry-dominated group, but not anymore after their stunning downing of Ballydonoghue. Emmets, with a youthful squad, now make the long trip to Ballinskelligs, buoyed by their comeback against St Senans. This will be a close one.
