Important win sees Athletic up to third place

THIS was a big game in the title race and the win for Athletic moved them up to third in the table. William Courtney and Owen Benson scored the winners and Aidan O’Callaghan scored for Castleisland. This was the first defeat of the season for table toppers Castleisland after nine games.

MEK Galaxy 1 Fenit Samphires 2

THIS was a crucial game at the foot of the table and in a tight encounter Fenit came away with the three points. Conor Murphy was the MEK scorer with an assist from Harry Buckley. Best on the day for MEK were Bogdan Pop. Andy O’Sullivan, and Sam Treharne.

Tralee Dynamos 2 Classic FC 1

TRALEE Dynamos move up to a move comfortable position in the table with a good win over Classic FC. Ivan Kolarevic and Aseged Wolsermariam scored for the winners and Anthony O’Leary scored for Classic.

DENNY PREMIER B QPR 2 Castleisland B 2

A GREAT win here for bottom of the table QPR with the defeat denting Castleisland’s prospects of making the final. Tadhy O’Mahony and Jonathan Reen scored for the East Kerry side.
