The benefits of using ECOSYL 100 additive

ECOSYL 100 is available to purchase at Kelliher’s Feed and Agri Supplies, Ballymullen, Tralee.

Ecosyl 100 is a silage additive, which is available for liquid or dry application. One bottle treats 100 tonnes of forage, and can be applied using any applicator from 20ml/t to two l/t.

It has a 48-hour tank mix life, and the ULV tank mix can be fridge-stored for up to ten days.

Dry application is at 200g/t, and it has an unopened shelf life of up to 24 months in a cool, dry storage space.

It is GMO free and is suitable for organic use.

It has many benefits, including rapid pH fall, more efficient fermentation; less protein breakdown; reduced fermentation losses; increased dry-matter retention; higher retained nutritive value; proven increases in digestibility; and improved palatability, intake and animal performance.

It is backed by 15 independent dairy trials, and produces an average of 1.2litres extra milk per cow per day.

It is also backed by 19 beef trials and 26 ‘D’ (DMD) value trials.
