-

BALLYGARRY House Hotel & Spa was recently ranked in the ‘Top 10 Hotels’ out of 950 five-star hotels in Ireland. This is the sixth year in a row it has achieved this ranking, which is a customer decision based on the quality of reviews received annually. It is now ranked No. 5 in the country.

The Ballygarry House Hotel is a wedding venue of exceptional quality and is a generational favourite among people getting married in the county. The hotel recently added ‘The Lodge’, which is a rustic-inspired, on-site ceremony venue that is perfect for hosting Civil, Spiritualists or Humanists ceremonies.

The hotel’s wedding team identified this transition in weddings with more couples now opting for ceremonies away from the church setting and that all-encompassing venue. The Lodge comprises of a wedding venue tailored to suit any couples dream of a unique and special celebration.

Speaking about Ballygarry House Hotel’s Top 10 ranking, proprietor Padraig McGillicuddy said that in a time of uncertainty for the industry he is delighted with such positive news.

“It really is down to the team at Ballygarry. It takes each and every one of the 150 staff that interact with guests to make that moment memorable,” he said.

“It’s a testament to the culture of the team and the history of Ballygarry along with our loyal customers whom we are more grateful to than ever in the current climate.” Among Ballygarry House Hotel’s long-term goals is to transition into an Estate Hotel with the aim of developing the 100 acres surrounding the hotel to give guests more options and more things to do in the outdoors. It plans to connect the hotel through a series of paths and a dedicated bridge direct from the hotel to Ballyseede woods.

“We aim to have far more amenities for leisure guests and families along with vast options in walkways for locals enjoying a pre or post dinner stroll,” Padraig added.
