DROMID GRAVEYARD MASS
Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic and the concerns regarding social distancing please note that the above Mass for this year has been cancelled to ensure the safety of all. The Mass in St Finian’s Church on Friday 31st July will include Prayers for all those interred in both Dromid Graveyards and will be livestreamed on churchservices tv, then look for St Finian’s Church.
CLG PIARSAIGH NA DROMODA CLUB
Faoi 12: Well done to the Under 12s who had a victory last week against Portmagee. They had hard luck against Waterville but are looking forward to two challenge games this week.
Faoi 14: The Under 14s have had a busy few weeks with a game against Foilmore last Wednesday and two challenge games against Renard.
Faoi 16: Well done to the Under 16s who won last Sunday against Kilgarvan/Tuosist. They look forward to playing Laune Rangers B in their next game. Thanks to Colm O’Shea, Caol a Fraochain and Boston for sponsoring a new set of jerseys for the team also.
South Kerry Minors: Best of luck to Donagh Shine O’Sullivan and Daragh O Se who will play against Austin Stacks in the Keane’s SuperValu County Minor Football Championship in Cahersiveen on Monday, August 3rd. Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Club Championship Round Two: Well done to the team and management for a great victory against Milltown/Castlemaine on a scoreline of 1.13 to 1.09 at home on Sunday.
A special thanks to Patrick O’Donoghue and Kevin O’Shea for having the pitch, grounds and clubhouse in great condition. We will play Waterville away next weekend on Sunday at 2.30pm.
