The death has taken place of Patrick Morgan, Leamnaguil­la and formerly Kilrush, Co Clare. Sympathy is extended to his wife Breda and family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass took place in St Gertrude’s Church, Firies on Saturday followed by burial in Old Kilcummin Cemetery. May Pat rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Maureen MacMahon, Manor East, Tralee and formerly Firies. She is pre-deceased by her brothers Paddy, John and Terry and sister Eileen. Sympathy to the extended family, relatives and friends. Requiem Mass was on Monday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tralee and burial afterwards in Rath Cemetery. May Maureen rest in peace.

The death has taken place of John Cronin, Freemount, Rathmore and formerly Bouliculla­ne and London. Sympathy is extended to his wife Elizabeth and family, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, relatives, neighbours and friends. Memorial Prayer Service took place on Tuesday in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmore with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. May John rest in peace.

TEAMS - The u14s had a good win over Tralee Dynamos which puts them on contention of the Premier League title along with St Brendans Park. Best of luck to this squad in their remaining games.

The Club u16s competing in Division 1 travelled to Iveragh Utd and picked up a deserved point in a 1-1 draw. Jim O’Dowd being the goalscorer who along with Eoin O’Mahony, Davin Quilter, Conor O’Regan and Conrad Long played well in a strong squad performanc­e.
