BANK HOLIDAY CÉILÍ IN PORTMAGEE

There will be a Céilí on the Sunday 5th of May from 3-6pm in the Portmagee Community Centre Eircode v23 HY51. Music by Tim Joe and Ann, Admission €10. BANK HOLIDAY WALK IN BALLINSKELLIGS

The now annual 5K Fun Run/ Walk, Cool Siúl is on Sunday May 5th at 12.30pm. Entry is €5 per person or €10 per family. All proceeds will be divided equally between Ballinskelligs Community Care and Scoil Mhichíl. SYMPATHY

We offer our deepest sympathy to her son Liam, and daughter Colette, together with her husband Shane, and all of the family and many friends of Mary O’Sullivan nee O’Driscoll who recently passed away on Tuesday, 23rd of April. Mary was a beloved sister to her brothers Michael and Donie and her sisters Bridget and Colette.

Mary was a woman who had a deep faith and lived this faith every day. Mary was known for her many kindnesses to people and had a very caring heart.

We offer our sympathy to her friend Angela O’Shea who shared many happy moments with Mary. I bParthas na nGrás go raibh sí.

SUPPORT GROUP FOR CARERS IN THE IVERAGH PENINSULA

A support group for carers in the Iveragh Peninsula is on at Comhchoiste Ghaeltacht Uibh Ráthaigh 3rd Tuesday of each month with Éilís 10.30am to 1.30pm. A safe place to share your worries, you are not alone. A burden shared is a burden halved. A listening ear. All are welcome. Le chéile is féidir linn. Lunch, a cup of tea, a chat and a laugh, Guest speakers Bígi Linn. If interested please ring ahead just in case there has been any changes with times on or call Éilís on 087 6341538.
