The work rate by Laune Rangers was superb, the backs were successfully preventing Firies from getting any clear cut chances with the home team using this platform to build attacks from. Sara Leslie found the back of Firies net when she received a great pass from Aine Hassett. Laune Rangers were ahead at the short whistle.

Half Time: Laune Rangers 1-11, Firies 1-4

The second half saw Laune Rangers start with the same momentum as they finished the first, first score of second half came from the boot of captain Meadhbh Johnson. The forwards were supplied with some great ball from the backs and midfield which resulted in Kayleigh McGlashan and Sara Leslie adding 2 more points to extend Laune Rangers lead. Firies tried hard to get back into the game but Laune Rangers were well organised to cut out any danger and finished the game stronger to run out convincing winners.
