BALLYHAR DYNAMOS FC TEAMS

The Club’s u14s Premier squad travelled to Killarney Athletic on Friday in a must not lose game to keep their hopes alive of contesting a final league game decider at Murt Scott Park against St Brendans Park. Ballyhar led 0-1 at the break thanks to an Alex Finn strike after Dylan Fitzgerald had the first attempt. Killarney Athletic also had their moments bringing the best out on Ballyhar ‘keeper Daniel Duggan. On the stroke of half time Duggan made a fantastic save when he clawed the ball and forced it over the crossbar. Ballyhar doubled their lead on 55 minutes when Jack Kelly and Ryan Quilter set up Ryan Vickers and at the second attempt Vickers increased the lead. Athletic came roaring back into the game with two well taken goals to tie the game at 2-2. Both teams went for it with Jamie Murphy and Ryan Vickers going close before the final whistle. Best of luck to Athletic in their upcoming cup final.
